Soft, thick cookies filled with rich chocolate flavors and topped with festive Easter candy, perfect for spring celebrations.

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate Easter bunny candies
  • 1/2 cup chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
  8. Press the Easter bunny candies and a few chocolate eggs onto the top of each dough ball.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown while the centers remain soft.
  10. Let them rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For long-term storage, freeze cookie dough balls for up to three months.
